That's a bit condescending but whatever.

I was indeed here when they were the best team in baseball. One of the games I watched them go 19-27 vs Cubs on their way to the 19-31 low point. Great season.

They clearly (as is being demonstrated right now) are one of the worst, if not the worst team in the Majors. If the product on the field isn't doing it, then the product(s) supporting that have to make up some of the difference. This isn't it.

Where did I sign up for "The Passive Aggressive More You Know" PSA?

Look at you with your "mentor at-risk youth" coment and "TDY" like we are some missionaries (pss...we aren't supposed to use to those terms..stop dividing us!).

Ask not what Reddit can do for you, but what you can do to stop using othering phrases and blaming ...uh, others.

Agreed. I chose it bc my dining partner is veg but I was pretty impressed they didn't make the menu seem like I was eating same veggies prepared different ways.

Service was great. Wait staff was down to earth but still professional and attentive. It didn't feel pretentious or like we were out of place, not wealthy enough to be eating there like some other fine dining spots in DC.

Absolutely nonsense. They had DECADES to improve themselves before charters and never made an effort to do so. DCPS, especially the Central Office, is a jobs program for Ward 9 and the shills who depend on it.

No one in my neighborhood who cares about their kids sends theirs to the local.

General: I would fix the fare gates because the dude sitting in the same train car as me smoking weed(?) definitely didn’t tap in and I wish he wasn’t here. Can’t ban people if there’s no requirement to enter.

Tiny: Have all the trains stop at the exact same spot and add numbers to the floor in front of designated places for doors to open so you know which door is closest to the elevator, escalator/stairs, transfer, etc.

Not mad but I do think that charters inhibit the betterment of neighborhood schools.I send my kid to a neighbor school and many highly engaged neighbors see theirs to charters. I’d love to have the neighborhood school have those engaged parents and their PTA fund raising ability helping out DCPS and all those kids who’s parents don’t “GAF”.
