My numbers didn't hit and I lost my brothers life savings in December. I stay at a property he owns bc I live check to check these days. He literally banned wsb with the Comcast Xfinity app , no way around it using wireless-cable. Paid mostly quarterly so now I'm back at the casino, everything can't go completely against me again, law of averages. I got my privileges back and I'm not thinking about yesterday.

The bank failures that led to their insolvency was management and the rates. But the VCs, who alongside their founders own like 90% of the bank’s deposits, panicked and screamed fire started the run that led to the illiquidity rush.

In short, yes all of those regards are to blame for SVB specifically

Closing out 60ish DTE calls tomorrow. Probably waiting til next week to hop back aboard the put train (or if/when $410 is reached). Lost enough on puts early in the week - doubling down hurt.

Might as well ride the wave up for now, even if I do think it’s insanity.

Shhh bro, they’re all convinced that the US financial system is going to collapse because some shitty managed and over leveraged bank called SVB (and a few small other non SIBs) are the catalyst to it all 🤡🤡
