I went to the dark side and now im slowly making back the loses. Why play against marketmakerd when they fk everyone? Im in theta gang now. I see a play that makes sense to me. Go to options and pick one id buy. If it has a big open interest... instead of buying it and going with my gut, i just write one. Inevitably when the premium goes down i buy to close for profit

3/30/23: Economic indicators: US unemployment benefits ticked up for the first time in three weeks, suggesting some softening in what’s still a robust labor market. Only about a quarter of unemployed US workers applied for jobless benefits in 2022, suggesting unemployment claims could be much higher. And US corporate profits declined in the fourth quarter, while the GDI, a key gauge of economic activity stumbled.

They were making money before, they will make less money going forward and potentially even lose money. Loan rates are already much higher, even for good customers. Their customer base really isn't subprime and I don't think regulators would be pleased if they started taking on more risky loans heading into a potential recession
