Or if they would actually require proof of trading experience before enabling options trading. But then they would go bankrupt in a week.

The comment was towards people that think a fed pivot is a good thing. Not a comment as to the purpose of the Fed.

Yeah where'd they get that $70 billion that was withdrawn? They just had it lying around? Or they borrowed it at 5% from the Fed against their underwater treasuries?

Mine went up 2.48 to 2.79 yesterday.
They were called out about the price gouging due to the bird flu.
Everything else still increasing.

$1.59 eggs today down from $7/dozen - sounds like deflation to me :)

Will the unaffordable housing, cars, rent, food ever have an impact?
Both greedflation & inflation are still rampant!
There’s no pivot or pause coming - they said exactly that many times over the past year.
These paid-for posts to shill bags are so detached from reality it’s not even funny.

>I agree that the banking sector turmoil will likely lead to the Federal Reserve pausing its rate hikes, which in turn could power gains in the S&P 500 index. I believe Yardeni's target of 4,600 points by 2023 is achievable given these conditions.

whenever i go on these streaks I take out half, buy a nice dinner, a semi expensive thing i've wanted, and throw the rest in a high yield savings for taxes. Keeps you in touch with the actual value of money.

BX just told their investor group the Federal Reserve isn't stopping their rate escalation until late 2024.
Do you honestly believe they would waste the equity of 9 rate hikes in just over a year to reverse course now?
Dumb and stupid is no way to go through life.
