Nothing is more reliable than self reported trading results, that's for sure.

I think GDP numbers will come in higher than expected probably leading to a red open. Signs of contraction weren’t really there in Q4 but I’m seeing slow downs everywhere now in Q1.

Reply to I wonder what these $LULU calls will open at? by Langda
My whole morning got ruined dealing with SoFi invest, their whole system was down until afternoon. Couldn't sell my Lulu calls. I'm going to dispute it though, sold them but not when I wanted to at 948am.

He’s a massive prick. Check out short seller Mark Cohodes’ recent interview on Blockworks Macro. One of the biggest egos I have ever seen in finance. And that’s such a high bar.

Totally agree with this strategy, we’ve seen plenty of examples of shorts piling back-in this year after a rally and I don’t think this will be an exception. But $25 call with 4/7 expiry date is where I’m hanging out.

i'm intrigued by your comment about low volume and options closing moving price direction towards EOD. can we simply infer that based on the P/C ratio we can predict the direction? if so i would like to throw down on that!

I was buying puts, so the market had to go higher. I then bought more puts so the market went higher. Rinse and repeat.

That's an utterly moronic thing to say.
Unemployment rates reflect those who are seeking jobs and can't find one.
There are complexities with skill set misalignment and other factors that are hard to gauge.
Your claim that true unemployment is at 40% is absolutely absurd. There are millions of job openings currently. A stay at home mom who is not seeking a job is not unemployed. There are people who will not work, ever.

What was the positive catalyst today to push the markets higher? Bulls front running GDP, employment and PCE numbers (again)? Pricing in rate cuts after the fed specifically said "no rate cuts this year"?

thinking some short term SVB 25 strike calls as shorts exit their position and then throw down on some puts if it gets above 30.
