Why is this animation /art style sticking around? It’s so boring

When the last season is the highest rated season, and the last episode is the highest rated episode, you know that's a quality show.

My father was really into that show and I watched a handful of episodes and I’d agree their chemistry was great. It’s definitely a show I’d like to actually dive into.

Another cartoon that the art looks completely shit. At least every single character doesn’t have the same face like other American animated shows.

I know it was bad, but I kind of liked it. I felt like it was a decent "trashy Florida Southern accent" compared to Raylan's "slow smooth Appalachian accent."

Chris Miller said during the panel yesterday that the second season was the perfect opportunity to fix the design flaws he didn't like him the first season. Like Joan's head.

To be honest, I can see this happening to a lot of people. Imo, the show doesn't really find it's solid footing until 13 through 20 which I really enjoyed. Early on, you have a small cast of characters, and a handful of villains who seem... unmotivated? I'm not sure what the right word is. But after 13, two of the minor villains have new purpose, and by the end of 20, all the main core of villains have found a new raison d'être going forward.

And a lot of the same is true of the core and secondary protagonists. You get a much better sense of the characters, the backstories, their motivations by the end of 20.

I'm not saying any of that is a good thing. Needing 20 episodes into an anime for it to make the jump from watchable but meh to solid (imo) is not a great concept, but those where the episodes that hooked me personally and felt like the show came into it's own.

That said, I totally get if people aren't willing to sit through like 7 hours of TV for that kind of thing.

Not to mention one of the best roster of supporting characters ever assembled. Hell! Some of the minor characters are more fully realized than the main cast on other lesser shows.

Loosely in plot details but very closely and lovingly in spirit. I'm a big Leonard fan and this is my favorite show of all time.
