I'm an Android user, and I know this is dumb.

The awesome thing about Android Auto and Apple Car Play is they are updated through an app on my phone. An app that Apple and Google can upgrade and update to keep it doing relevant stuff.

Instead, GM will replace that with software in the car that will be essentially abandonware or will charge out the wazoo for updates. F that. I'll avoid this and stick to a phone based car head unit.

This is all you need to know about this. It's all about monetizing. You want turn signals? That will be $5/month please.

I’m curious, where did you go? Northern Italy is just as economically advanced as the rest of Western Europe - not to say that the South is bad, Palermo is an amazing place for example. Have you ever been to Positano?

In terms of tourism it is also the most visited country in Europe, I wonder why you had such a bad experience considering how many wonderful things Italy has to offer, from food, people, wine, architecture, history, nightlife, nature…

Well, they're each designed around very different payloads and capabilities. Very different risk profiles. With the space tourism side able to sell tickets FAR in advance due to facing little competition in the space tourism business, while the payload to orbit business is already competitive and growing more so.

The only benefit I saw in their even getting involved in orbital missions is to, if it worked and could turn a profit, help grow their experience with orbital flights in hopes of one day carrying passengers and not just satellites. Selling these costlier, but also far more enticing, excursions to future space tourists.

Maybe work on laws discouraging that. The way modern computers work you can't oulaw database interaction, but building a Dossier is different. The World Council's Dossier Act compels open dialog between those doing it on all sides. In the US with its current nonsense portrayed as Congress, it'll be too late, already is, to fix the mess they make. Good luck into meltdown.
