Not sure what the typical use case is, but I'm a dungeon master for D&D and I use it to make pictures of buildings, environments and NPCs to show my players to help them get a better idea of where they are and who they are talking to.

More like openai is going to follow the same path as crypto, web 3.0, nfts, metaverse no matter what the competitors/billionaires or everyone else does. As problem complexity grows, the only thing that becomes obvious is everyone is full of shit.

I work for a competitor and it’s disconcerting seeing one of the FANGs trip up like this. They are such an ingrained part of our culture, have created amazing tech that I use everyday, and seeing them flustered like this on some thing that they should have down cold is concerning.
If one of them stagnates, they all eventually stagnate as well.

Stanford university used this exact method to train alpaca, an ai, based on llama. Google is doing the exact same thing.

All AI data has been trained on our data. Its laughable watching them bitch.
I have a small following for my art online, fucking midjourney jankily replicated my signature. There isn't even that wide of an obfuscation in data.

He was fact checked externally. Listen, it's not that difficult: In 1995 he says "In 2010 1000$ computers will have as much storage as the human brain" and he turns out to be right. Easy.

The only thing that should be addressed is that openai is still called openai

People on here are all completely distracted by Elon, as if all this is a ploy of some kind. Yet almost nobody read the underlying papers about (for instance) the power-seeking behaviour raw GPT-4 showed.

Fuck real estate companies and fuck PR masking as journalism, but I’m my experience working in the same space for a couple of days a week does legitimately increase collaboration. It’s not the be all end all of course, but it’s certainly a factor.

It's quite pathetic, really. Google has been resting on their laurels for quite some time now, but the cats out of the bag now.
Google stopped being a tech company when every new project just turned out to be a failure.
Serjei Brin, your time is up.
