There was a court case I think involved Linked-In that was like this. A different company built a business from scraping their public pages, then Linked-in blocked them and got sued. Courts sided with the other business.
edit i have been corrected. HiQ was initially granted an injunction that prevented LinkedIn from preventing scraping. That injunction was initially upheld by the appeals court. It was later vacated and LinkedIn won the case.

Counterpoint: The AI chatbots have become so human-like that they now desire porn. Which is Bing's only redeeming feature.

I wonder if that is anti-competitive... Has been a while since Microsoft's knuckles have been rapped.

Huawei is a negligent company that is now in serious financial trouble. The core tech they have been using is owned by the western companies that developed it. They undercut the competition by removing essential security features and utilizing multiple occupied bandwidths. They were also found guilty of multiple cases of fraud. Don't forget China supposedly had the world's largest real estate development company and largest coffee chain. Both were fabrications. Huawei lost access to western tech last year after refusing to address security and legal concerns. Their reported revenue from selling devices dropped 40% year over year. They aren't currently selling 5g devices. Their CEO acknowledged the company will be insolvent if they can't quickly find access to 5g chips, and their five year outlook is bleak.

I got downvoted for saying this on the stocks subreddit. If I search for a particular insurance company or a particular product, the top result is still not what I searched for. Wtf is that. I’d understand if it was the case for my generic search for insurance. But I asked for the exact thing man, show me that.

So if you look sad, will it make the plot even sadder or more light hearted?

This article is talking about two people in a basement fighting over skittles......not based in any reality for those who live there beyond this handful of nutjobs. Like the 5 people standing outside Trump tower who were going to stop the cops Tuesday from processing him. They may support a particular view in an echo chamber, but not abject reality.
