You know the biggest voting bloc on the left are Christians. I am trans and Christian. Secular Christian but still. About 65% of lefty voters are Christian or catholic.

But I think even many people on the right would know this is fake news though. It's not uncommon at all for some hooligans to come along and make ridiculous claims in the name of God. Happens all the time. The people that do buy this stuff tend to be desperate and hurt. Which is why I think it is particularly bad to lie about claims like these, because of the type of people they prey on that are searching for help wherever they can find it.

Thank you so much! I will definitely be looking into him. I didn't realize in a town full of hospitals, that health care could still be such a hassle. 😅

If they could prove that it happened they would. Plain and simple. It is the ultimate marketing strategy for their church. Imagine how many new members they would have willing to donate thousands of dollars a year to their church if they could prove a miracle like this. To OPs point though, they don’t have to prove anything because there are desperate people out there, people whose kids have terminal diseases or incurable diseases themselves, who are willing to throw money at the church because they need a miracle. All of this media attention and attention from the community is costing them nothing so every time a believer now chooses James River over a doctor they make pure profit.

Dr Jonathan Clark @ 1200 E Woodhurst. He does not accept insurance, and office visits are a flat fee of around $70 bucks. They can normally get you in the same day, in my experience.

I have no issue with it getting a lot of attention from the media. What I've grown tired of is the majority of the front page of the local subreddit being filled with people saying the same thing over and over.

It wouldn’t surprise me if you’re right. It costs James River nothing for this attention so if even one person joins their church it’s pure profit.

I'm happy it's getting all this news. I have a friend who has people in their family abusing them using this story as some kind of justification for the abuse. I won't even go into it, but people who believe this stuff can weaponize it and that's scary.
