I've been an avid hater of religion for my entire life and this is news to me. I've driven past that place a billion times too so you're not alone

Go to AMC or B&B on Tuesdays and you can go for $5. That's the only time our family can afford to go to the movies.

I haven't either. I get why some might like it, but I don't care to have dinner served during a movie and have someone coming in and out the whole time.

Everyone raves about Alamo but I have yet to go. I’m not really willing to spend that much every time I go see a movie.

Man... I haven't thought about that place in years. Back in the day, when your mom could drop you off and not worry you would be on the 10 o'clock news.
I was ok with waiting until the movies got out of the bigger theaters and just go see them there. I think I snuck into my first R rated movie there... But I don't remember what movie it was sadly.

He records all of his music in Springy because it’s a smaller/more chill town. There’s an interview somewhere where he basically says “Springfield has a more grateful audience, it’s harder to impress people in LA” or something to that effect.

I'm with you there. Theaters seem to have gone to a destination "experience" rather than just a place to watch a movie on a big screen with good sound. Can't tell you the last time I went to a theater.
Loved it back in the 90s when I was in college there was the Tower theater and Fremont for $1.00-1.50. Used to go to the late show all the time, sometimes was the only person there.

Gillenwaters courts by Kickapoo and Perry courts by the art museum are outdoor and well taken care of.
Coopers courts are open to the public, no membership required. It isn't really a membership, more like a one year season pass that pays for your court fees. Otherwise you can just pay the day fee.
Court scheduling is difficult right now evenings and weekends February and March. Counting men's and women's there are six college teams and this year Mizzou is using Cooper too for some reason so there are constantly practices and matches. This will get better as the weather warms and the schools go outside.
USTA has a big presence and is constantly running leagues and tournaments. There are also many player run leagues that meet on a regular basis.

Revolutionary? Nah. Famous? During the 70s and 80s they played literally everywhere, from Central Park to California.

The tennis scene is very strong. That's what decades of free, well-lit courts will do for a sport. They're everywhere, all over town.
