There is a mind blowing museum in Golden Missouri tucked away between truck stops. It doesn't look like much on the outside but the inside is filled with hundreds of collections of people's collections that they donated. You will see things like antiques, civil war artifacts, items confiscated from prisons, ginormous crystals, metal lunchboxes, etc etc etc...

Dogwood Canyon Nature Park in Lampe MO. You can ride horses, walk the trail or rent a bike. Cute waterfalls. Overall really nice.

Reply to changing name in Greene county by anonathen
Had name changed in 2019, around age 22. Just filled out a form, paid the fee, had to go to court after it was processed where a judge just asked me the same questions on the form (are you doing this to avoid debts, etc) and confirm the name was right. I think it all happened within the span of 2 weeks, but this was pre-COVID so I don't know if things are slower now.
Allegedly you had to have it run in the paper for a couple weeks, but I don't know if I was supposed to submit this or they were, but I wasn't involved with it, so I don't know if it actually happened. If you're doing the name change to avoid an abusive situation, the form says they can waive this part.

Personally, I would really avoid At Home and Wooten Co. Look at ratings on different websites. I would be really careful with sites like Craigslist, Facebook, etc. A lot of people use photos of properties and try to scam to get an application fee. I would mainly try to call the actual properties to make sure your talking to a real person/property manager.
Carlyle Apartments is great property. They’re run by Brian Properties. They have been really great at maintenance requests. I know they have an open one right now. They also have duplexes. Houses are just outrageous right now in rent. I think there’s also pebble creek, willow creek, quail creek, (lots of creeks lol), but that’s all I can remember that are good right now.
For pets, I’d definitely see about going to the doctor about your anxiety (wink) and getting an emotional support animal certificate for both pets if possible. I wouldn’t tell about the bunny. I know that seems awful, but it would save you a typical $1000 in pet fees on move in? They can’t charge you a pet fee if you have an ESA.
If you’re in a really bad situation and need help, please feel free to dm me and I can actually research for you.

Nor the man that was banging on the bench (fixing it?) on the opposite side of my husband, who could feel everything. Guess he couldn’t wait till we were gone or a few hours till they closed… terrible.

My partner and I would absolutely join. We appear to be a lesbian couple, but my partner identifies as non-binary.
Have you contacted the GLO project or any queer groups? Unfortunately I don’t know much about organizing something like this, but if it’s held you have so much support.

Right? Lol, I guess I tend to avoid that bit of traffic as much as possible though. Got any suggestions off the beaten path?

Shit. Out of town right now, but would definitely be there otherwise.

There’s an awesome trail there that leads to one of the highest points in the park. Every time I visit, I’m sure to do that.

I've lived in Springfield for 15 years and have been to ES dozens of times. All these comments recommending Branson attractions and I'm just over here wondering if I've been driving to ES wrong all these years because I've never taken 65 or gone through Branson there or back!

Absolutely do not eat at Mexican Villa, it’s for old white people that have never had Mexican food. Their salsa (they call it sauce) for their chips is like the consistency of ketchup

Jersey Mikes for subs. If you tell them it's for an allergy, they will cut the bread in a different area and that same person will put the toppings on your sandwich and wrap it.

Similar language is in the statute for broken headlights/rear lights as well but the police ticket for them all the time. And yes, it would be nice if they policed the traffic signals better.

A friend’s daughter goes there and said their tuition will transfer to another school in Springfield. I’m sure Paul Mitchell and Academy are about to be full if not before.
