This sounds nuts but Incredible Pizza! They have a buffet for your non-gluten free friends and they have the BEST gluten free pizza that I’ve found! Also they have a deal that for a $20 game card, you get a buffet for free!

Roaring River state park has a fish hatchery along with some neat things to look at. I remember going there and being able to actually pet the fish in their tanks there were so many of them.

Harrisonville has a decent little bakery but most of the best stuff around eureka isn't on the path between eureka and sgf

Thank you for recommending X Center, aside from the hours that seems like a place that'll fit my needs for the time being.

That's what I was afraid of. Ive always gone to casual gyms where it's a mix of the both. I don't really want to go to a gym where everyone is jacked or trying to become jacked.

I like to visit National Tiger Sanctuary about once per year. It's on the way, just off 65. I probably wouldn't go there myself when the weather is this cool, but they say the cats are more active in colder temps. Since it's only about 20 minutes south of Springfield, it's something that you could easily do another time. It's also a little pricey if you don't find some kind of ticket deal, and they do a lot of BOGO type offers if you want to wait for one. If you don't find a better available offer, I think they will give a small discount for being a local, if you ask for it.

I can't remember ever visiting Cosmic Cavern, but that's something that I'd probably want to do if I was in the area.

I worked out at Rage in Nixa when I lived out that way. Definitely a meat head gym if that's not what you're looking for.

I stayed there recently. My girlfriend and I were looking for a reasonably priced hotel/motel with a hot tub in the room. After we made our reservation and got there, it was just a bathtub with 3 out of 4 non-functional "jacuzzi" jets.

The rest of the room was lower quality than the "hot tub."

I know, we got what we paid for. But still, do not recommend.
