That's what the artificial magnetic field is for

Lunar dust is sharp enough to damage rubber in a relatively short period of time? Weaponize that shit, maybe it will kill bedbugs

I totally disagree. I refer to the wave/particle duality of light.

They know, but the chances of them sharing that data are pretty much zero.

I am happy to see this question. I have not read what Hawking radiation is exactly. I think that the universe has infinite possibilities including other ones already in existence. Time can perhaps measure and I wonder how, I say this because time is just that a measurement. So, why not? Thanks.

On the one hand there is a paper published in Nature Astronomy, but on the other hand, there is this guy on reddit who said "astronomer here".
Case closed I guess, the guy on reddit sounded really confident.

Radiation isn’t matter, it’s energy. And hawking radiation is not dark energy either.

Is it not worrisome that countries will be trying to mine and extract minerals from the moon? If something goes wrong and the moon cracks, or fractures, wouldn't that spell absolute disaster for Earth? I may be fearful but as humans are destroying Earth with mining, imagine what could happen on something smaller.
Edit: downvoted for not wanting the moon to become another polluted, capitalistic cash grab. Lol

The moon is already radiated.
Solar winds will yeet any atmosphere away.

The radiation is actually produced throughout the ergosphere, wherever space is warped.

When post starts with "Astronomer here" one knows there will be grilling and lots of respectful "maybe, but...". Thank you for your time, it is much appreciated!

Soon after sunset to catch Jupiter and Mercury near the horizon. If you don't have a really clear western horizon, I wouldn't worry about it too much and enjoy Mars and Venus higher in the sky.
The fifth planet is Uranus and you're not going to see it without a good telescope or binoculars.
