Solar-powered system converts plastic and greenhouse gases into sustainable fuels. Researchers have developed a system, which can convert two waste streams into two chemical products at the same time – the first time this has been achieved in a solar-powered reactor.

Near-whole ankylosaur remains found, complete with its jagged spikes, most of its limbs, armor coating, and some of its guts and stomach contents. The remains could be a key to understanding aspects of Early Cretaceous ecology, and shows how this species may have lived within its environment.

Farmland bird populations bounce back when farms devote 10% of their land to nature-friendly measures. Ten-year study measured changes in the abundance of farmland birds on land managed under bird-focused schemes, as well as land no bird-friendly farming initiatives.
