Most of the time I see accusations of corruption here, it's completely baseless. Affiliations and funding are public and have to be reported in the publication. Big Whoever is not buying out associate professors at state schools to publish in low impact journals.

Being skeptical means reading the article and evaluating it's merits. People seem to think it means rejecting everything by default, then looking for reasons to justify the assumption.

11 volunteers were recruited for a third arm of the trial. Crying was induced by instructing participants to watch a movie clip from their choice of "Titanic," "Grave of the Fireflies," or "Up." Fat metabolism was increased at suggestive but sub-significant levels. Further research is needed to determine whether this effect can be reproduced.

Conclusions: In this large-sample study, self-dosing CBD was not associated with an increased prevalence of elevation of LT or low levels of TT in men. Furthermore, CBD administration decreased DD and was associated with a lower prevalence of low testosterone levels in older men as compared to age-adjusted population norms.
