I’ve been using a CBD/cbc/CNG/cbn formula (and temporarily green lipped mussel powder) for an unknown inflammatory issue with my pet cockatoo. Although the multi cb_ has been more recent, CBD has been the constant over the last year. Blood tests over the past year show lower, not raised liver values. I use human versions for him, not pet grade. Recently, he finally had “normal” bloodwork, and seems healthy.

When I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and given no chance of a full recovery, just the possibility of extending my life, the cost of treatment was not an issue, as I'm Australian and luckily had good public transport connecting me with a specialist hospital. The cost of medicines cost around $5 - $10 a week and that was my only expense.

But if I was in America - As I have two handicapped adult offspring to care for, and went through years of pretty well my whole carer's allowance going on house payments while buying nothing ever for myself so I could at least leave my kids with a home of their own, I would have forgone cancer treatment and died a few years faster in order to not lose the house.

Surprisingly, the treatment worked better than expected, now having no detectable cancer at all, saving the government the expense of supervising my sons.

Medication for ADHD massively reduces the risk of developing addiction, and the younger treatment is started, the greater the reduction. Early diagnosis and treatment for ADHD is so important.

You mean…like the vagus nerve?

Edit: biohackers have anecdotally already known everything the article says, in particular the benefits of SCFA’s.

It’s always weird when science announces something entire communities of people already know.

Same study as another post I got a notification for, but different headline. Makes it much clearer.

Also, f paying for medical care at point of use. Universal healthcare is the only way forward for an equal society.

Don't assume from this addiction is genetic. The behavioral part of addiction is generally learned from family, ergo a large portion of addicts will share similar genes because they are descendent from addicts that lived centuries ago.

Quit alcohol and coffee, went on a low FODMAP diet and am doing two months of herbal antimicrobials followed by two months of glucosamine and N acetyl glucosamine and targeted probiotics. I am also taking supplements to help my body create more bile to help digestion (herbal bitters and tumeric.) I did the GI Map test to figure out what was up with my microbiome and other things - learned I have SIBO, dysbiosis and a gluten allergy.
