Most people don't learn this until they enter the food industry.

Azalea flea market, when the summer was on last year there was more produce there then many farmer's markets.
I think the other farmers markets charge for a spot but azalea they just let anyone come in.

I don’t have a car and would take the shuttle or public transport. The problem is ascend charges 1030+ for shared accommodation and with the James I got 749 dollar lease

I would recommend Ascend over The James if you don't plan on having a car.
If you have a car, The James is a fine apartment building and conveniently located within a short drive to most things you'll want.
If you don't have a car, Ascend is a convenient walk away from Monroe Park Campus, a grocery store, and the only good mass transit line in the city.

You should probably take your own advice, read the room, and realize this is not how you make friends here.
This type of nonsense will keep you in our moderation queue far longer until you get more subreddit karma and we might just get tired of dealing with you altogether.

Per the schedule on here, I would think public input would have been before the September 2021 plans, maybe even closer to the 2016 Bond Referendum. So, it most likely happened a few years ago.

The music will carry quite far from the venue, so you could probably find a nice place along the river to hear the music (maybe even on the other side of the river) with your pup

Reply to comment by Jinchique in Anyone know where I can get cheap-ish dogwood tree saplings? by lucasjackson87
I ordered some trees and shrubs from them several years ago and the one I let mature for a season in a pot faired way better than the ones I stuck in the ground. Just a tip for anyone looking to do this!

Or maybe get them out of the middle of the road? I like the pedestrian crossing lights…but we had plenty of red paint for that disastrous bus line. Why not get a bunch of yellow paint?

I have a dream. A dream that TJ will be there. A dream I've dreamt 100 times. But every time I open my eyes. It's WF or a Publix I see. Maybe TJ was not meant for me.

/u/lucasjackson87 If you're ordering a bunch to get past that $100 free shipping (or you almost get there but don't want one more), I could use an eastern redbud so maybe we could work out a coordinated order?

Richmond Tree Stewards does a big giveaway in October: https://richmondtreestewards.org/tree-give-away-2022/
There’s several others in the fall geared toward native trees where you can get a few for free or very low cost.
The Dept of Forestry also has low cost saplings. (Edited to add link for Va DoF: https://www.buyvatrees.com/?s=Dogwood&post_type=product)
I’ve had great luck with Virginia Native Plant Swap on Facebook also. Might be worth asking there as well.

Oh yeah, tried going to that dollar tree a few weeks ago and it was straight up abandoned. Then again, shouldn’t exactly be surprising for anyone who ever went to that location

There was a family dollar down the street that closed up and was replaced by that vet's office that was previously across the street in a much smaller location.

The one thing I have noticed is there are not yellow signs indicated crosswalks. In other urban areas you have crosswalk indicators with flashing yellow lights that are elevated for drivers to see. We just have a 2 white lines and pedestrians between 2 illegally parked cars as indication of someone crossing.
