I’ll have to check. I thought it was still state property. If it is now city property, that fence will remain for years to come.

Edit.

> There are now plans to remove the fence since the land is now owned by Richmond instead of the state, according to James Nolan, press secretary for Mayor Levar Stoney.

Article over a year old, fence over 2 years old. We’re all going to die with the fence still up.

I hired USA pipe repair because I couldn't find anyone else who could repair my sewer line by lining it, and based off my experience if I were doing it over again, I would look harder to find someone else who could do the job.

Or to put it differently, if I had another issue that could be fixed by lining a pipe, I'd pay about 1500 more to have anyone else do it. If it was that much cheaper, I would probably deal with him again and have someone on site to keep an eye on everything while they work.

I got the chicken and waffles and lord help me there was more syrup than chicken and waffles combined. It legitimately tasted like they sugar dipped sugar cubes and then molded them into the shape of chicken and waffles.

Also it’s hilarious how clearly everyone takes their nova parents there on their Sunday brunch visits. It’s like a rite of passage, or something. Maybe you get a discount if you arrive in vineyard vines, and I just didn’t know about it?

Glyphosate is safer when compared to more industrial herbicides but it’s a toxic irritant to people nonetheless. Regardless, it was unprofessional of both the city and the spray team to not notify the public with signage. “Not a big deal” is not the wording I would use for more reasons than one. But yes—the chemical is not outright carcinogenic, nor immediately deadly.

Their videos are too depressing for me. The amount of work we need to do to fix American development patterns is so overwhelming lol

I’d rather just go shit post on r/FuckCars while someone smarter and more patient than me puts in the actual effort to change things

I'd have left. I have a rule that I will never attempt to argue my way into a restaurant. If they show even slight resistance to the idea of seating me, I'm gone. Immediately.

They're booked solid and I have no reservation? That's on me, I won't argue. I'm gone.

They have some weird, stupid policy that makes them not want to seat me like in OP's story? I'm gone just as fast. Except in that case I won't be back.

I'll admit I'm not familiar with the distance that stuff can travel while spraying due to wind, but the Fonticello Food Forest is in the same small park. I hope they gave those folks a heads up at least in order to cover crops that might be susceptible if it's within the wind carrying zone.
