The Tri-Cities area (Petersburg, Hopewell, Colonial Heights) has some huge historical disadvantages in education, racism, environmental damage, and a limited economy (military with mostly young trainee soldiers rather than engineers/IT people and more senior soldiers).

Those issues don't disappear at the city limits of Petersburg and Hopewell.

If you’re getting a third lobe piercing, you’re getting into cartilage territory. I wouldn’t risk going for the cheaper option. I had a great experience getting pierced at Enigma and thought it was worth the extra cost for comfort and peace of mind.

By reading "The Art of the Deal" by Donald Trump (sarcasm). But honestly I had some pretty crap experiences with this rental and I just made sure to document and call it out. I had to offer up alternatives instead of just saying "You can't raise my rent". The reality is as much as it sucks increases are going to happen especially in the city of Richmond where gentrification and other factors are pushing Property taxes higher and higher. My experience is probably different as Evernest doesn't own the home I am renting. So at the end of the day it was up to the owner to approve or deny my request. I made sure to specifically list the problems we have had and I offered up what I felt was a more reasonable increase based on economic trending and inflation with is currently at about 6%. I gave multiple options and asked for much more than I expected to receive. Ultimately I saved myself about 780 bucks which isn't a massive amount but it's nothing to shake a stick at either.

I went to lucky 13 for an industrial and triple forward helix a few years ago. I didn’t have any problems with lucky 13 but given all of their negative reviews recently, I’m not sure I’d go back.

All that being said, I’d rather go to RCT now. I got my third hole added there about three months ago. I think it was $78.

I grew up around the Petersburg area back in the 80’s-90’s and the funny thing is that Colonial Heights was considered a posh area. When I go there now I have to laugh because I really believe that all the hate was the real downfall.

So excited it’s almost happy hour on the VMFA lawn season again! That is one of my favorite things about spring in Richmond.

I haven’t been to Truckle’s new spot. Will definitely need to visit there!

I don’t think you can generalize on leases as each one is negotiated between a different landlord and tenant. There are clauses that can be added that protect the landlord. There is no “only way”

Honestly there are a lot of Cherry blossoms and dogwoods around Richmond with it being that much closer.

I feel like there has to be a media campaign since this year the Cherry blossom stuff is on full press.
