Crushing a few ATVs is doing... "something." I also guess I'm an avid book reader since I read a book a few years ago.

A week into spring and his only proposal so far is to start the destruction of progress. He had a boner for the police and so far, his social media is just flexing with them in a heightened state of police fear and corruption, nothing about policy.

And misinterpreting? I'm just able to read between the lines. Everyone with a brain knows he's in bed with real estate and business fucks in Providence and what do ya know, those fucks despise walking and biking infrastructure because "muh parkin'."

Weird for you to defend someone who doesn't give a flying fuck about this city.

In terms of speed/uptime, nobody else comes close to FIOS. Cox can be fine for a lot of home users but there's some stuff (WFH, gaming, streaming) where their shitty upload speeds will be a problem and they have full or partial (degraded service that still kinda works) outages a LOT more often.

I’ve used Cox for years. We pay about $55 a month in my apartment. Can’t really give you technical details of my plan bc I took it over from a roommate who moved out years ago, but have had 3 people living in the apartment using phones, laptops and TV’s on the wifi simultaneously with no issues.

Would be 2000 per person, which I get is prohibitive, and this post is in no way meant to be a humble brag (price is a stretch for me) was just hoping to leverage the internet to find some of the young professionals around town. Haven’t really organically met them in 2 years of being here. But I could never live alone, plus I feel like value on the east side goes so much further with 2+ people

Also: pro-union here 🖐️ Don’t want to give the wrong impression. But the grocery bill will turn the Rhode Island wine scene into Florida. People take our selection for granted, but it took a long time and a lot of effort to get it to where it is now. We don’t know how good we have it.

The police seize and destroy a few hundred dirt bikes and ATVs every single year, save for the one hilarious time that a bunch of seized vehicles got stolen out of the city's storage before they could crush them.

It's obviosuly still a problem but if you have the impression that nothing's being done at all, I might suggest paying the slightest bit of attention.

Trying to shamelessly shit on the current mayor over this when we're not even a week into Spring just because you're still all worked up over a bike lane answer you've willfully misinterpreted is a weird look.

I mean they proposed the bill. Testified with the distributor lobbyist in favor of it. No issue with them before that, bill goes away, no issue with them again. Its a direct attack on the brewing industry and its viability and the jobs and livelihoods of hundreds of Rhode island residents.
