In talking to staff, you get a sense of how familiar they are in dealing with food allergies. If you’re not comfortable with the response, you eat elsewhere. Sometimes they tell you they’ve all had training, sometimes they brush you off. If it’s the latter, you go somewhere else, as they likely aren’t cleaning surfaces, using new utensils, etc., before making your meal.

I get what you are saying. Considering the way we rebuilt the river (trudged) and had many many MANY decent developers with “grandiose” ideas that got shot down due to inside deals and moving towards the practical. Practical isn’t bad. It’s not what Providence was about for quite some time. I was never a fan of Buddy because in my 42 years it’s been easy to sift away the BS. It was almost too obvious. This city was calling its self the renaissance city. Now a days? We kept too much of the practical.

Try and buy through a local troop. A portion of those proceeds go towards helping the kid you buy from pay for camp. If you get them wholesale, it just goes to the profit margin of the company that makes them.

It made a big difference to me as a kid.

Really? Strange. I must have never noticed them. Oh well. As fair as I’m aware its not actually state property? And as long as I’m not camping or shooting up, I doubt anyone will care if I pickup junk off the shoreline. Plus the beach is hard to see from the bike path.. and the cops have much more important things haha
