I'm no expert, but cast iron becomes naturally non-stick if you "season it"

Considering how many teflon pans I've ruined (and how toxic the precursor to teflon are) I'm planning to either go cast iron or try one of those enameled ones. I just need to find the right size and weight. My cast iron skillet feels a bit too small and is already ridiculously heavy.

It wasn’t all too hard, but the trail is overgrown and badly marked. Not too many people climb it. There are some pretty sketchy areas, but the view is jaw dropping.

How would one start planning, developing, and then maintaining a structure like this in the Winter lands? I understand it would be a bit more difficult due to the logistics of gathering the materials - but are there any other points to take into consideration?
Am always fascinated by something like this.
