Now the shops behind security are going to stock peanut butter and charge $20 a jar.

I wonder what would happen if you spread it onto a sheet of wax paper then rolled it up? I'm sure half the TSA agents would let it pass in the jar anyway.

I have stringent dietary restrictions and peanut butter is one of my favorite travel foods. Obviously, there are always alternatives, but classifying it as a liquid is stupid and another example of the security theater bullshit they put us through.

why just not allow oils and emulsions

I run marathons and always pack peanut butter so I do not have to worry about finding some at my destination. It is part of a traditional race day breakfast.
The TSA had been restricting peanut butter container size for quite a while--I guess it was just unofficially until now.
Edit: I package it in multiple 2oz condiment "to go" containers.

Why would you post a paywalled article without pasting the contents in the comments?

Pitch is a liquid, and peanut butter is much less viscous than that so sure.

I wouldn't call it a gas or necessarily a solid, so maybe i agree with them.

But what about if I want some peanut butter to dip my apple slices? And even on a sandwich that raises the question - what if I have more than 3.4 oz on a single sandwich? I'm team amorphous solid when it comes to PB

So someone accused of child abuse should be fine to work with kids? Would you want your kid spending time with someone accused of this? I didn’t say the man should be stoned or kept from all jobs, in exile. But there are plenty of jobs and roles he can play that don’t put him with kids .

A bomb is only the second worst thing you can put in a jar of peanut butter in public.

So make your sandwich first. I brought several PB&Js through several countries not to long ago. The only people that seemed concerned with them was the group that is concerned with restricted foods. I actually had to pull them out of my bag and show them at a couple places.

How do you really know that they are less evil? Your “news”? These politicians do favors for each other weather they are red or blue, doesn’t matter to them. The left owns most all of the media so info on corruption on the left is suppressed or forgotten. The “little people “ who are Conservatives DO care about peoples welfare and safety or they wouldn’t donate so much to help others. “True Christians do that as do many liberals or atheists. As for the these churches that support priests that do the unspeakable. They work against Jesus.

I'm not putting much faith in people who instead of waiting for the actual cause of death loudly declare his "balls were squeezed to death". I have severely blasted my own before and about puked a few times. The article clearly shows they are not the sharpest tool either

A person accused of child abuse should be placed on leave, have a proper investigation, and then go back to their job if they aren't found guilty.
Is it really that difficult to NOT ruin a person's life over an allegation?
