Don't trust your parents, but don't let them know that either. They are currently your only source of information, and going to authorities would only serve to make you a lab-rat, so you don't wanna ant-agonise them...

Yep haunted real estate 101. When you have set defined rules don't screw with them. If you don't open your doors past 1am till 2:17am don't open doors. If you never move out and the house wants you to watch as it collects it's pound of flesh just buy plastic sheeting and ask if you can put it down before they do their business.

Only the first one that got to a hospital and convinced them that he was the original dad would have health insurance, though. It's probably better for them if they languish in their cells for a little while longer and actually have access to medical care. Because we live in a particularly stupid dystopia.

You don’t have to be single forever just because you don’t ever want live with someone, it’s called “living apart together” (LAT) and lots of people are doing it now! Basically you just get married but never live together. It’s much better than having to live with another person, avoids a lot of issues.
