I got the impression that we gave up when the Earth eventually got, or will get, swallowed up by our sun when it becomes a red giant, so we sent out these pods that could stay self-sufficient for such a vast period of time. I think most people can agree that actual humanity will not last that long, but such pods might be able to.

Humanity lasting for 100s of trillions of years up to that point is still pretty impressive even if the ending to us (and I’m guessing most other life kinda sucks)

When you get the story from Harrison, could you give more details about the man?
