Same here! Mom from Ireland but she didn't tell many stories. I love Irish myths and and folk lore so I'd tell her. But yep! Leprachauns aren't Like the ones on the cereal box. They are mean!

I've read a similar story before, but it was about the Neanderthals. I remember an opium den.

Might want to have her give you a crash course in supernatural self-defense. Reasons being threefold: 1, she saved your behind, so buying her a beer and installing google maps on her phone would be a good way to pay her back. 2. Any encounter with the paranormal always attracts more paranormal to you. And lastly, 3. Most people who have a supernatural encounter will die from supernatural causes. Sooner rather than later, if you aren’t informed like Lilly, or protected by the Silver King. Best to figure out who/what will eat you, and who/what will help you.

Just started reading from the begining like 2 days ago maybe? Maybe yesterday. I wanted to say on the first story, the song is the opening theme of My Neighbor Totoro. Best movie, is it not? And also, am also ace. I'm glad you've finally accepted it. Instead of feeling shame at your "v card" instead accepting yourself. So happy for you! And for your family. UGH so happy for you. Can't wait to hear how you got out of this mess? Off to continue reading, I just had to speak.

I think you should definitely make sure to let her know you made it to the hospital safely.. and maybe offer to buy her a drink or dinner as thanks for saving your ass. And if it was me, I'd want to hear more about creatures that -until now- I'd believed to be fairy tales - not sure if you'd be as interested, seeing as how you've had a really bad experience - but I'm sure she'd be a great conversationalist; she sounds very wise, aside from being very kind and definitely interesting. Do be sure to share if you ever cross paths with Lilly again!
Edit to correct my poor spelling and grammar.

OK sooo... I think you need to track her down for a proper thanks. Buy her a beer. Your ex wife's anger should not spoil your future. And imagine how proud your daughter would be if her Dad became a monster hunter.

Here in the states we don't have that same folklore and history of myths...I now know to respect the stories of yore.

Growing up Irish we're taught to respect the fae and faery folk. Can have dire consequences if you dont. We are modern people here but still have a lot of superstitions

Thanks for your concern. We are ok. I never knew about Leprechauns and how they aren't just the mischievous little beings, but can be pure evil.
