Hi, guys. It’s John. That was the most horrifying thing I’ve ever witnessed. Worse than Billy’s transformation. An emaciated humanoid with black eyes — Det, I assume — just drained Ron of his soul. I watched my friend wither away before my very eyes. Horrible.
What a mental month. I befriended a guy who died in 1987 and, hopefully, helped him return his soul to the afterlife.
But I don’t think anything will ever be “tubular” again. I fear that other people like Billy Riley are out there. Well, not people.

Man it's never something easy for you, huh? You'd think the fact that Sterling grilled you over the exact same thing and decided you were alright would be good enough, but no, now you've got to go through a hell obstacle course and prove to your friend's stepmom that you've got the power of friendship. There needs to be like a support group for humans involved in the supernatural world or something I stg

That aside, great chapter again! Just absolutely knocking it out of the park every time

Well I’ll have you know that pine trees block IR when viewed from the sky and you should definitely use a Dakota fire if you need a little campfire. It’s essentially a fire that placed in the hole in the ground and has a secondary hole dug to it so that the fire can get air and not produce any smoke (also be careful to not burn anything wet or else it’ll produce some smoke).

But on the bright side: apparently they sometimes go into hibernation and their owners, thinking that they’re dead, bury them alive in a valiant attempt to return the verminous hell spawn to the Pit from whence they came. ☺️ Also I read a post once about a guy who used to let his dog eat them when he thought they were dead and now questions how dead they really were lol
