Didn't know that bartenders were paid to watch / enjoy a comedy show. Probably just trying to make it through their busy shift. I've always had great and attentive service at the bar, sure, you're not going to have them ask you about your life story, but the bar is always packed and they get your drinks to you in a reasonable time.

Yale Art Museum and British Art Museum are both free, and worth a walk around. The food trucks on Long Wharf are fun on a nice day.

In Milford, you can walk around the green, check out the record store there it’s that’s your thing, and go to one of the restaurants there

the best local source of news does not require a subscription. it's the new haven independent. i read basically everything they publish.

I think it's more a feature of being raised rich and privileged than the universities fault. Hell, my college was known for having spoiled brats as students but pushed diversity requirements for GE and every major separately. Still has racist fascists as graduates. Then again, most of the money the school gets is from donations to the petroleum engineering and business school and I don't know what their requirements are
