There were a lot of dogs in Strouse Adler (PMC Property), I don't remember huskies specifically but it didn't seem like there were restricted breeds.

Not the most upscale building in town, but also not a slumlord like some of the big property companies in the area. Wooster Square is nearby and has a lot of people walk their dogs there. It's not a huge park though, a husky might be better off up near East Rock if you can find a place.

Armada Brewing in Fair Haven does Tuesday Tabletop Nights where they play RPGs and card type games. Worth a look, especially considering they make some really good beer!

I find the fact that Yale Police always send sthese notifications a week after the incident really patronizing. Even "timely warnings" get sent 3-5h after the incident occurs. They are not useful after the fact. Their goal is to save the university face and quell any panic, not to genuinely keep us informed in a way that would allow us to make our own decisions about our safety.

new england reuse in north haven is worth checking out! it's a pretty similar to the habitat restores.

also, it's a little more expensive and boutique/vintage-oriented, but monger's market in bridgeport is always worth the trip on a sunday.

She needs to go to a sober house. If she wants to have her own space that badly, she wants to use. There are plenty of opportunities for addicts to get help. They have to want it.

My advice to you is to lovingly disengage. Don't give her any money. Don't research for her. Don't do anything that relieves her of her own personal responsibility. Involving yourself is only going to lead you to pain.

Ugh, 2 shill posts in a week for me… check out Elm City Games. We have new players all the time in our organized public games. If you want to do an intro session as a group we can arrange that as well. All of this costs money though, so may or may not be the right fit for you.

I mean you could, but it’d prolly be in a shittier neighborhood where a former addict would face temptations. I remember when my friend got out of prison, I would drive him to his methadone dose appointments and there would be guys waiting on the curb right outside the place trying to sell him dope.
