That’s exactly when I started collecting mine, and for a long time had every stub ever since. But since buying tickets online became the norm, especially when going with groups, it became less and less of a habit. I keep mine in a fishbowl on a shelf.

So, did that many people watch him 50 years ago that would watch him today? I would assume 90% of his core audience has been buried a quarter century or more.

I do, I probably have some going back 20 years. It sucks now with online ticketing they just give you a flimsy paper ticket instead of the stubs.

I’m not a big fan of horror which is why it took so long to be honest 😅 but thank god I did. Are there any psychological movies like it that have a similar feel? I’ve already watched it again this morning!!

Just the lack of encouragement and general unwillingness to explore cinema outside of a limited box of “this is what I like and this is what all movies should be like”. I know not everyone wants to risk their time to watch things they could find boring or incomprehensible but seriously; there’s so much more cinema out there people! From so many places! Yeah we all like the IMDb top 100 films but that’s only scratching the surface. Just lose the fear of watching stuff you’re not immediately familiar with.

Last Voyage is in August and is a Dracula movie from the studio relasing a Dracula movie in April. Would make a lot of sense for there to be a trailer for it in April. "Hey audience at a Dracula movie, you're not going to believe this..."
