Ya I like his films. I have never been blown away but I’m never disappointed and enjoy myself. Armageddon Time wasn’t bad, it’s a good coming of age story. Nothing really new but it’s well done and kept my interest.

The only stub I’ve held onto was for Parasite. I saw it on February 15, 2020.

The first time Peter O'Toole breaks out into song in The Ruling Class. The movie is insane under a veneer of sophistication... which is basically the point of the film.

I guess, but then I'd have to actually deal with someone there, outside of the 2 seconds it takes the guy to scan my phone. The beauty of it all being on my phone is I don't have to deal with lines or kids with bad attitudes anymore. Atthe theater I go to I even order my concessions on my phone and just go to the counter to pick it up when it tells me they're ready.

I'm not a manga/anime guy so I've only read like 1 or 2 short stories from him, but it strikes me that the most memorable part of the stories was the art, live action seems like an odd direction to go in for junji ito stuff

Can’t say anything about the latter as I’ve never seen it. But Rocky Horror will always have a special place in my heart. The only other one I enjoy possibly more and it’s only because of the music is Repo! The Genetic Opera
