There's a thing called dye.
This picture shows that his hair is whitening. Even his brows. He just dyes it. Nothing wrong with that.

Health. Hyperthyroidism is bad for heart/anxiety. He also has a family and when you've been in martial arts/movies as long as he's been, side roles make enough bank to keep the lights on. Tbh, he doesn't need a reason other than because. He's been in side roles with Mulan and Expendables, so he keeps busy. He's just not headlining anymore. Meh. Martial arts takes a huge toll on one's body. I mean, look at Jackie Chan. Even when you do it right and prep, things go wrong. He's broken quite a few bones. It adds up when you get older and he's almost 60.

What does that have to do with the US military being the most evil organization in the world?

At least these are some good neo-noires. That might be the vibe you’re responding too.

Seven with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. Go in blind if you've never seen it.
Edit: Movie is a hard R so keep that in mind if you do.

This reminds me of a game we used to play in the pub where you'd have to perform the intro to the superman intro, followed by Star Wars, followed by Indiana Jones, and for whimsy, followed by the A-Team. All had to be done in quick succession or you failed.
After a few beers, it's a little challenging.

Not sure about "forgettable". But I read/saw online that the theme for the live action The Lion King was very sloppily and poorly put together. And apparently Hans Zimmer had almost no involvement (even though his name is on it). Though how true it is, I do not know.

Yup. The feet are just a cut away to get to another take of the same shot or something to do with editing. Kevin isn't doing anything style wise with it. He's not that kind of director. He will say so himself. It's definitely to correct something with the footage.

Reply to comment by PennStateInMD in Cynthia Rothrock was the best Martial Arts female movie star and yet she almost never gets any credit by Lili_Danube
Right.... and if Cynthia Rothrock didn't get those extra takes and those other actors did, then it's easy to see why someone might think she wasn't as good at acting.
I mean, in their first English speaking roles neither Jet Li or JCVD could even speak English and were just doing lines phonetically. It was awful to say the least, and both those actors getting to be in bigger films had nothing to do with acting ability. Cynthia was easily on their level at the very least.

Reply to comment by [deleted] in I watched One Cut of the Dead and fully didn’t realize there was a second part to the movie, and thought it was just a quick movie by StayWinning100x
It has nothing to do with attention spans. It was the second movie of the night for us, Deadstream was the first one, so for sure not an attention span issue. It got to that middle portion and what I THOUGHT were end credits. I did think it was weird that it seemed so short, but I assumed maybe we were just invested in the one shot take and we only felt like it just went by super quick. It was late at night so I just didn’t think to watch through the credits or pay close attention to the time marker. Literally like thirty seconds later it would have jumped to the second part if I was more patient.

Watchmen, although it has a much more nihilistic tone overall
