I think I've read that he just decided to focus on other things outside of filmmaking, he's certainly had enough success that he probably doesn't need to unless he really wants to. Whereas someone like Donnie Yen (same age) whose been working for a long time, but didn't get as many major roles until more recently probably still wants to show what he can do. And of course other older action stars each make different choices about what kinds of stuff they want to do later in life.

I saw the Mission Impossible trailer before my screening for John Wick 4 and it had me hyped.

Guardians 3 will decide if there is a superhero film fatigue or it's just that every movie post-Endgame have been a bit meh.

Joker 2, The Batman sequel, Indiana Jones 5, Captain America etc.

There are tons of franchise movies to be excited for, it's just about if they live up to expectations.

Here are some films I'll recommend, which I haven't seen mentioned yet:

Death In Venice, Anomalisa, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, The Illusionist (I'm talking about the animated film), The Florida Project, Babe: Pig in the City, Last Year at Marienbad, A Night in Casablanca, Room Service, A Room with a View, and John Huston's atmospheric The Night of the Iguana.

I just finished watching #Alive and it was awesome. I'm glad you recommended it cause it was exactly what I was looking for. Enjoyed it a lot. Also, I've watched The Thing and I will check out Green Room too. Thanks for the recommendations. Have a great day!
