I don't use Rotten Tomatoes nor IMDB tbh. I can never trust these so called "critics". It just gives you a ballpark of the quality of the movie but try to find a critic you like and resonate with and watch their reviews for movies.

That was just one bad photo that went viral, but in appearances after he looks fine for his age. This article goes into more detail for anyone interested

I think I've read that he just decided to focus on other things outside of filmmaking, he's certainly had enough success that he probably doesn't need to unless he really wants to. Whereas someone like Donnie Yen (same age) whose been working for a long time, but didn't get as many major roles until more recently probably still wants to show what he can do. And of course other older action stars each make different choices about what kinds of stuff they want to do later in life.

That could be Number One, son! (Nudge nudge, wink wink.)

I saw the Mission Impossible trailer before my screening for John Wick 4 and it had me hyped.
Guardians 3 will decide if there is a superhero film fatigue or it's just that every movie post-Endgame have been a bit meh.
Joker 2, The Batman sequel, Indiana Jones 5, Captain America etc.
There are tons of franchise movies to be excited for, it's just about if they live up to expectations.

It's simply what percentage of critics recommend seeing it, how can that be a bad rating system? If you don't care about critics recommendations then you shouldn't be looking at any rating system to begin with.

I think not fully understanding David Lynch is part of the appeal. It adds intrigue and you'll keep thinking about the film to make sense of it.

I saw a few pictures of him not that long after Expendables 2 or so and he looked dramatically different. Unhealthy but not sure how to describe it. Like he had aged 10-15 years in just 3 actual years
Great that he recovered

People with an IQ above 100 switched to Metacritic years ago.

Absolutely this. It seems imdb ratings almost skew to average being around a 7 and anything bad is a 6 or below. All of these sites leave me wanting but some are easier for shills to manipulate.

have you watched Twin Peaks yet? the first season was amazing!

Here are some films I'll recommend, which I haven't seen mentioned yet:
Death In Venice, Anomalisa, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, The Illusionist (I'm talking about the animated film), The Florida Project, Babe: Pig in the City, Last Year at Marienbad, A Night in Casablanca, Room Service, A Room with a View, and John Huston's atmospheric The Night of the Iguana.

I feel this way frequently, but then a spinoff/sequel/prequel will randomly get announced that makes me excited all over again.

I just finished watching #Alive and it was awesome. I'm glad you recommended it cause it was exactly what I was looking for. Enjoyed it a lot. Also, I've watched The Thing and I will check out Green Room too. Thanks for the recommendations. Have a great day!

I’d be up for a Charlie Chan reboot. The mystery genre is making a resurgence.

That’s why the best overall is MUBI. It’s just people who like movies and take it seriously

The problem is movie studios use shills to fill IMDB ratings with 10’s and critical users use shills to fill them with 1’s. IMDB is very-much bottom tier when it comes to rating manipulation.
