And he threatened to kill Christopher Nolan because Jude Law had signed up for The Prestige when Russell wanted him for Huckabees. Law tried to pull out of Russell's film because he needed the higher paycheck (he was going through a nasty divorce at the time and needed the money), then Russell ran into Nolan and put him in a headlock and demanded Law back.

Sure, but if we’re counting kids movies than we’ve got to scrap the entire premise, because we’ve had plenty of animated pirates movies since 2003. And Peter Pan movies.

I figured we were talking about dominance of the genre.

LOL, and what evidence is there that she and no other was being prepped as the actress of her generation? A generation I might add that featured multiple Oscar-winners Cate Blanchett, Frances McDormand, Hillary Swank, Emma Thompson etc. So Watson being nominated makes zero difference. She was merely one of several. Watson was well and truly behind the majority of them in the pecking order of leading ladies of the late 90s early 00s. I think you're basing all of this on subjective opinion rather than any factual basis. For one thing, Punch-Drunk love isn't even her most well-remembered performance (Breaking the Waves for sure).

There's a film that's being sued for cutting Ana de Amas out of the film even though she was heavily featured in the trailers.

Avengers Infinity War had the Hulk charging scene in Wakanda, deliberately shot for the trailer, not in the film.

Spider-Man Homecoming had a shot of spidey and Iron Man flying/swinging in unison that wasn't in the film and was deliberately designed for the trailer.
