That was propaganda from Hollywood to convince the world to keep letting them film

I’m pretty sure Bale didn’t yell at the DP, but a light guy who ruined the shot

I was nine at the time and I just remember the hype machine for SMB3, including this movie, being a completely new and awesome experience. I don't think I've ever been that excited for a new game since then.

I might go with this one for now. I'm curious to see how they'll make a 1 and half hour movie about a guy buried in a coffin.

I think the last movie I watched that I really wanted to love but just didn't was A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood, the film with Tom Hanks as Mr. Rogers.
I really thought I'd love it, or at least like it, but there was just enough off about it, decisions either with the story or the acting that on their own wouldn't have ruined the movie, but added all together just left me feeling disappointed in the final product
There were things about it that I really did love, especially as someone who grew up watching Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. Using shots of model planes and cars for transitions between locations like the show did was a very nice touch (and the one time they didn't do that it works for what they're going for). But overall, I walked out of the movie feeling let down. I don't know if it was because I set my expectations too high and it was just different than I was expecting or what, but I heard a lot of people really loving it and it just didn't work for me.

I unironically love this movie. I just watched it the other night with my kids for the first time, and they also got a kick out of it. The asshole private dick is such a great antagonist, you just love every time something bad happens to him. The Nintendo nostalgia is in top form. And it's fun seeing Jenny Lewis in that role all these years later. Hell, I think my wife first introduced Rilo Kiley to me by telling me their singer is the girl from The Wizard.

Sid Anand is among the best action directors in Bollywood tbh. He has raised the bar ever since Ta Ra Rum Pum times. And he has presented Tiger the best till now. I would be excited. But he is working on Fighter rn (aerial action film) and afterwards will work on War 2 and then Pathaan 2 as well. Not sure he will be there for this film.

For sure - I'd honestly be okay with Pathaan & Tiger doing a full mission together and at the climax of the film they're pinned down by a group of gunmen when all of a sudden four sniper shots are heard and all the gunmen drop. Enter Kabir.
