It's a motel not a hotel

This is what Hallmark movies and Lifetime movies are all about. They're just cheaply made feel good movies for people who don't want to really think about anything. Just a live action romance novel.
Lifetime movies are basically the same thing, same cliche stories about the babysitter banging the dad and suddenly wants to kill the family, nothing crazy just safe stories people want to see over and over.

Deadpool 2 shot a couple of scenes with the X-Force crew specifically for the trailers, so people would think they'd be a major part of the movie

This reminds me of the story that James Hong recently told about how he was fired from the set of a Charlie Chan movie -

I think the makers of these movies are aware of these cliches. They keep on making them because that's what a lot of the audience wants to see

The studio behind it said they delayed it again and won't say a release date until they're confident enough. Apparently it's still supposed to come this year tho

Yea. The trailer reminded me of the last act of “I’m Thinking Of Ending Things”.

Fully expecting there to be a film featuring Tiger, Pathaan and Kabir from War after this

I don't think making a Vs film is the look. I'd prefer them working together and showing how their fighting styles compliment one another, similiar to the action in Pathaan.
Awesome idea to be inspired by Marvel to make a shared universe, but doesn't mean it has to be copied to the tee.

I love this. It's like when people decry horror films for having characters make stupid decisions while you're screaming at the screen "don't go in there!" It completely misses the point of the entire genre!
Hallmark films are intended to be cliches. It's almost like you grew up without ever hearing the phrase "a Hallmark moment."

The scene where the two male female subjects acquaintances are arguing, angry look on their faces declaring their absolute disgust of each other, suddenly they embrace and kiss as if to say it was all just sexual tension. Take away 5 more points if it cuts to them in bed after having done the deed.

You're thinking of Kieran Culkin, my dude.
Rory Culkin is his younger brother (who is also awesome). Rory Culkin is in stuff like Lords of Chaos (about the early Norwegian black metal scene), Electrick Children (with my personal favorite actor, Julia Garner), Scream 4, Mean Creek, You Can Count on Me, and Signs.

Definitely gonna be like Synecdoche, New York only less philosophical with the existential dread/anxiety cranked up to 11 and some horror influence.
