He also groped his transgender niece (and he admitted to it, but of course victim blamed with the ole' "She wanted it" defense). Fucking creep.

HoYeon Jung (from Squid Game) is also going to be in it - I wonder if they're going the 'american tourists in Korea' route with it.

Both can be true. It can be a great performance from a shitty person.

Michael Mann is my favorite film director of all time, and Collateral may be my favorite movie of all time. So this is one of the cases where i really don't think it's a movie that needs a sequel, but... The idea still sounds cool. And it'd be great if Mann got to do one more huge hit like the good old days.

I may get banned for this because it's not a movie. But if you want to see a gritty, near future hard sci-fi with a bit of horror thrown in and you are willing to put the time in, go catch The Expanse. It's pretty damned good.

Both bad but morons are the ones being manipulated so easily by billionaire interests. Outrage is also addicting so toxic people fall under that to an extent as well.

Oh yeah, I heard about that. I didn’t pass judgement because I figured Tom Cruise may well be completely in the right on the issue. Not following Covid regulations has screwed up a lot of things, flouting Covid rules put the biggest nail in the coffin of Boris Johnson. I bet it could kill a movie.
