Scream (1996) came out on December 20, 1996. Scream 2 began filming in June 1997 and was released on December 12, 1997. Similarly, Scream (2022) came out on January 14, 2022. Scream 6 began filming in June 2022 and was released on March 10, 2023. Both really good movies.

I was quite impressed when All the Money in the World completely replaced Kevin Spacey footage with Christopher Plummer after filming was completed, and shot his scenes in 8 days around Thanksgiving, and still met a December release barely a month later. Plummer even got an Oscar nomination. You have to give director Ridley Scott and his cast and crew enormous credit for pulling it all off so cleanly.

Am I the only one who thought that the Bourne films were really repetitive?

I liked the first one, but every film after that was just another variation of "I need to know about my past" followed by some fights, a big car chase scene, and then learning one more piece of the puzzle.

I actually liked Bourne Legacy more than any of the mainline Bourne sequels because it deviated from this pattern.

I love those movie, but the first had the best direction with Doug Liman. Then Paul Greengrass brought the shakey cam for the sequels. They could have been so much better without it.

Well if you didn’t like the book, you might actually like the movie better. I might like the movie better if I didn’t like the book so much.

And yes, I actually meant the one with Josh Hutcherson lol. I was like 10 years off whoops 😅 I had no idea it came out when i was a kid. I can not believe Zooey freaking Deschanel was in that. Oh my god. In my defense I was 10 when i watched it and somehow it ALREADY seemed dated.

And yes, you definitely should!

I think about this film so often since it released. I had so many theatrical culture shock moments the first watch; some moments in select scenes were funny when they should’ve been more serious like the lightning strike(?) and other scenes or moments it was vice versa. Regardless the Korean film industry may be the greatest story tellers atm.
