I personally look at it as pure fiction. I can't say what I felt at the time, but speaking in the here and now: it does not inform my opinions on Zuckerberg.

The movie is a masterpiece, IMO. The pacing is absolutely breakneck and impeccable, the acting is downright fantastic, the music is just immensely intoxicating and the story is captivating and compelling.

If I had to pick a movie that I deem to be perfect, it would be The Social Network. I just wouldn't consider it to be an accurate telling of the real-life events. While I am certain some, if not a lot, of what happened in the movie may have happened in real life, I would rather watch a documentary for the most accurate accounts of real-life events. Everything else...is dramatization for maximum engagement.

The director told a story where Jeremy Lion's Iron's passport wasn't good and he couldn't get to the US to film. And it was like Memorial Day weekend so trying to fast track through the bureaucracy was even more impossible. Somehow they pulled it off at the last second and got him there.

I imagine something like that on your first movie would take years off your life. It's a super important character so you really need an actor of stature, not just throwing a suit on the 1st AD.

Loved this. Came out when I was in high school. In fact, I liked it so much that later when Buffy TV started I was disappointed it wasn't like the movie and bailed. Also, high school me really enjoyed Kristy Swanson.

This is a fair criticism. Tombstone has some great scenes, but it's uneven in spots.. the pace seems to be accelerating at points and then pivots to the romantic entanglements and then back to the core plot and then back again.. it's a bit jumpy in that way.
