Yeah that was one that when I left the theater I immediately had to go get a beer because my heart was still racing.

Nope the film was fantastic regardless of the stretching of the truth. Not really the point of my post. Which was that Mark Zuckerberg stole Facebook.

True, but they were not lead roles.

Loved the Wailing so goddamn much, stands head and shoulders above most modern horror movies. It immerses you so deep into the atmosphere in the first act then just fucks you up for the rest of the story. Goes from detective movie to zombie thriller to possession, and the end still sticks with me. Watch it if you haven’t yet!

Also the Medium is really good, he produced it and co-wrote it. Same kinda vibes, not quite as good but still really memorable. A bit more bleak and intense

I loved it! And especially, I don't like most of Sandlers movies, but he was cast perfectly here!

The real Zuckerberg is about 1/100th as charismatic and witty as Sorkin made him out to be.

I unironically think Chaser might be the best south korean film to come out ever.

And this is coming from someone who loved Waling and Parasite.

That movie was so intense and is so excellent.

If the slow pacing of 2001 didn't bother you, I loved "Barry Lyndon", a slow, almost dreamily-paced period drama about an ambitious, self-absorbed young lad and his adventures across Europe. The art direction and photography on this movie is simply astounding, every scene resembling a literal portrait from that period. An absolute feast for the eyes.

Also The Shining (one of the most analyzed movies ever), Full Metal Jacket, Dr Strangelove, the guy could do anything.

Well, neither of them are Americans.

one long panic attack

It's impossible not to appreciate Kathy Bates' comedic performance in that movie.
