Am I the only one who liked So I Married An Axe Murderer?
"I think most Scottish cuisine is based on a dare." is the truest line ever spoken in cinema history.

It’s not weird at all
You’re just too young to appreciate it
And that’s just how it goes with films

Sunset Boulevard. Because to me the movie symbolizes fatality and portray how things can end up dramatically in such a beautiful way.

2001 is the answer you’re looking for. A wonderful winding classic score. Long segments of no conversation or such in depth conversation it makes you fall down a rabbit hole. Lots of Long background shots too. Total snoozer- but in a good way!

Even season 1 included material like Buffy being confronted with her impending demise and breaking down. There's no punchline there. The presence of comedy doesn't mean that a work can't include serious bits, which is why that one guy's bafflement that anyone would have liked some in the movie was so cringey.

Update: So the black film I'm talking about is "The Last Black Man in San Francisco and it was released in 2019. I'm not racist.

Jonathan Majors, I mean his film debut was that black film in like 2020 and then klabam! MCU, The Harder They Fall, and Creed 3. Unfortunately it was short lived because of the recent domestic abuse issue but it still is really fucking impressive.

He's not convicted, just charged. Conviction (if it happens) is a long way away.

Might be an odd choice, but I used to use Memento for this decades ago.

Convicted? Damn the law works fast these days, didn't they arrest him like half a week ago?

But a few episodes before the rape Buffy is accidentally made invisible and uses the opportunity for shenanigans. The really heavy parts seem to be a tad out of place for the level of camp that is prevalent through most of the series. I guess that changes when the show jumped to another network and becomes more uneven. Watching the series again now and am almost finished with s6.

And having your coffin sporadically playing chamberlain "hmmmmmmmm". Some would be terrified others would be having the time of their life, great picks

Every good movie is inspired by something else. Whether it be a book, play, or another movie. And almost all of it can be traced back to Shakespeare. A movie isn't defined by the overall plot, it's defined by the execution of cinematography, dialogue, and actors' performances.
TLDR: people are idiots. Artists are always inspired by something. Uninspired artists are how we get absolute shit movies.
