What’s ‘the same’ about his roles in Once Upon A Time, The Revenant, Django Unchained and Wolf Of Wall Street? I’d struggle to name an actor who’s ever played more diverse roles in a ten year stretch. If you don’t like him, fair enough, but that part is just wrong.

Teresa Wright. The Little Foxes in 1941 and Mrs. Miniver in 1942. She was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for both films and won the Oscar for Mrs. Miniver in 1943. She was nominated for Best Actress in 1943 as well, for Pride of the Yankees. She was the only person ever to be nominated for the Academy Award for all of her first three films.

I can see how this could work because Edward Norton’s narration at the beginning of the film is very soothing. I’ve noticed that if I’ve seen a film multiple times already, it’s easier for me to fall asleep to it… except for Lord of The Rings. I just can’t no matter how tired I am

It took me four attempts to finally watch The Conversation because I somehow always fired it up later of an evening, and something about the tone of that movie totally relaxes me (at least until that moment later on). To this day it’s my “comfort snooze” and one of my absolute favourite movies.

Edit: also The Andromeda Strain
