That's what I was wondering. For leading types anyways. I know a lot of character actors seem to be in every project certain people do. I thought this was normal.

I'd include "What Richard Did" (dir: Lenny Abramson)

Or I think he can have some issues with story structure but also obviously has enough of a grasp to be a successful and prolific screenwriter with some celebrated works under his belt too.

His album Sun, Sun, Sun with his side project The Elected is one of my favorite albums of the 2000's! Didn't know that trivia, thanks for sharing.

What is wrong about that? Not every actor is lucky enough to work multiple times with big name directors.

I’m here to rescue you, OP! Also hate the film. I hate it so much that I’ve scrubbed it from my brain; I remember little of it so I can’t even explain why I hate it. Thankfully, I caught it on Amazon so technically I didn’t waste any money on it - just my time.

I guess you never saw Rogue Heroes, Peak Blinders, Serenity, Taboo or Girl in the Spider Web. All have great scenes and characters and some catchy dialogue but are utter clusterfucks when it comes to story narrative.

He didn't seem that fond of it in that interview he was talking about his films.
And when he's already turning down the likes of Del Toro, Chazelle and others it's not likely he'll accept such big physical films at his age and when he's not working that mich anymore.

Very interesting. You'd think that's the one thing he'd have told Nolan to consider changing when he made him go rewrite for 6 months.

Listening to some forums, he seems more fond of his dramatic films.

O Auto da Compadecida is just as famous here, but not so much on other countries, i think.

I don't see it as well but then again I can say that about a few of his roles that he owned even before his mature looks.

Yes, it wasn't a very good movie at all. At least it gave us that ridiculous hit by cars scene.
