Do you know what the qualifications are for the partial house rebate? Several of the contractors are telling me different things. One told me as long as I get a qualified mini split from the list, it should be fine. Another one said that I need a wired thermostat along with the mini split to be qualified for the partial house rebate. It's quite confusing. I called and email mass save and they are not answering. You don't have to but don't be surprised if you're told your lease isn't being renewed if you wait till the last minute. You're not required to notify your landlord this far in advance by law but they're also not required to renew the lease, they'll just assume you're not renewing and find another tenant.

If the buildings are in an industrial or commercial zone, then zoning laws may tie local politicians hands.

^This. Stop & Shop did this for years (90's - 00's) in eastern & central Mass towns to secure their empire. Smaller supermarket chains would close and they would buy out the leases and/or purchase the buildings.

As a central MA to western MA transplant the answer is Big Y. They are nice and clean stores and have good quality but nowhere near MB’s prices. Wish MB would come out this way.

Maybe. Or they over extended themselves and are trying to cut back expenses, which isn’t shady. Typically you budget based on projected revenue and profit, if those go down, you don’t have as much money anymore and you start canceling projects.

This for eviction. I did a basic Google search but can’t find anything about written notice deadline from the tenant. I suppose if I let her know later than April 1, she has the option of just not offering me a new lease.
