I like how this is like one of those family photos of the parents and their 8 kids and then in the top left is the blown up frame of the parents, the parents here being Russia and Muricah.

The thing you likely don't see is that crystal clear water is a churning death machine that'll pull you down and you never be found..

Look more closely at how the snow at the tip of South America is offset by 6mos from the snow up north. Also if you look at Australia you'll see a brown/green cycle that matches as well.

Fact is there just isn't much land far enough south to show the snow cover that makes this more visible in the north.
