I love stir fried pea shoots but i can never find them outside of an asian grocery. Where do you source yours?

That's a great looking sammmmich. Curious about pea shoots. I don't think I've ever had them.

These are pigs in a blanket, not pigs in blankets.
I'm just imagining all the people chiming in that it's not a proper sausage roll if that's what OP called it.

Lol, neither. Room temp butter spread on each slice of bread. Provides even coverage. And i don’t like using Mayo, although it’s easy to spread and gives great color, it become very greasy.

How long has it been since you’ve tried a Brussel sprout?
They have literally been reengineered to remove bitterness, so you might be able to like them now if it’s been a while.

Nom! We love roasted brussels sprouts with balsamic drizzle. And we love Manchego. Never thought of combining. Thanks for the suggestion!

We call that style 'streaky bacon'. It's pretty common here too, especially for making pigs in blankets. I wonder if you could ask a butcher to give you cuts of back bacon. Might be pricey though! Haha

Really hard to source in the US without buying a bunch of it online. Here, they butcher the pig differently and it's all thin streaky stuff which is mainly fat.
