It's bread dough so I suspect it's closer to a baked hotdog... Or a sausage-in-a-roll.
Pigs in blankets are sausages wrapped in bacon, sausage rolls and sausages wrapped in pastry.

Flautas are make w corn tortillas and fried in oil. One of my most favorite things to make. I make everything from scratch except the tortillas. Its a long process but totally worth it. Typically served w guacamole, queso, sour cream and fresh lettuce. I will make a big batch tomorrow and post it.

We had much different recipes growing up. Ours were cabbage, ground beef, pork, onions etc.
