I am quite fond of Village Sushi in Roslindale. While I typically go for the Sashimi/Sushi, the Katsu is pretty decent to (so is the bulgogi).

I've been around long enough just as a commuter to see two serious wrecks with my own eyes, had one friend killed when he hit an animal crossing the road, and have another close acquaintance whose legs were seriously maimed (and yet he is still an avid bike enthusiast).
