Cheers for all those mentioned. My daughter graduated from A-B but while she was a student she participated in HS, Open Door, and Theatre III productions. And I, as a devoted Dad, worked on the props and scenery for everything that she was in. All these organizations provide great experiences for kids (and their parents).

Remember that time that Bulger guy was in office, and a bill to fire the State Police that were investigating his brother was introduced, and no one could figure out who introduced it? WASN'T THAT THE BEST TIME EVER?!?

Corruption in the state house is a proud commonwealth tradition. I hope she follows through with this.

Thanks for your response! I searched commercial kitchen in the code book, and saw that it said PVC may not be used in commercial kitchens or public restrooms.

I understand having the plumbing for the new sinks I’m installing be copper, my question is will I still have to remove & replace all PVC even if the pipes aren’t related to the kitchen? For example, a restroom that is not opened to the public.

if it's commercial, you need to use cast iron or copper if you're doing new work. Check with Boston inspectional services on what counts as new work. You may be able to go for a variance with the state plumbing board to keep the pvc, but it's not a guarantee and will slow you down,

Personally, I feel that he is violating his fiduciary duty as a trustee. As long as he is a trustee, he is supposed to be acting in the best interests of the HOA. All of the things that were mentioned in the $500 are the basic tasks that a member of an HOA. Was he contributing anything toward that $500 cost when he owned the unit or was he expecting you and the other unit to split between yourselves?

I’d go there for raw ingredients. The salumerias are really good, as are the bakeries and wine shops. Alba produce has amazing produce. Like really, really good. For non Italian, Tenoch Mexican is really good. There are a couple of good restaurants but I don’t really eat out here (or anywhere).

When you file with insurance, make sure you mention that the barrel was in motion when you hit it. It rolled out from behind something and before you could take evasive action it impacted your car. You didn't hit the barrel, the barrel hit you. Or at least that's what I'm understanding from your post.

Different plumbers will have different takes on what the "right" way to do a job is. Unless there are code/health/sanitary concerns in play then if one of them says that the stack is in good shape and only the drains/traps and supply lines /shutoffs need attention/replacement then I'd probably go with them if they seem like they know what they are doing.
